Day five of Coaster Con 43 sees us spending the first half of the day at Dorney Park where we enjoy two catered meals, more exclusive ride time on roller coasters, rides on both of their in-park trains and more. Afterwards, we head to both Sesame Place and Six Flags Great Adventure to pick up a few more coaster credits.

New for 2021 at Six Flags Great Adventure is the Jersey Devil Coaster, themed around the mythical Jersey Devil creature rumored to live in the New Jersey Pine Barrens. Opened June 13, 2021, Jersey Devil Coaster reaches heights of 130 feet and speeds of 58 miles per hour. This single-rail coaster packs a great punch and features 3 inversions and a healthy amount of airtime.

Sesame Place, which originally opened in 1980, recently introduced Oscar's Wacky Taxi to their roller coaster line-up. Built by the Gravity Group, the coaster opened in 2018 and features a height of 43 feet and top speed of 34 miles per hour. Though compact, the family roller coaster packs quite a punch!

Six Flags Great Adventure is giving guests a first look at its next addition. Construction is underway on the park’s 14th roller coaster, set to debut within the newly transformed Boardwalk area. Today, the park revealed the first visual clue — a striking blue track component, offering an early look at the ride’s color and design.

Something big is beginning to rise at Six Flags Great Adventure. The park’s highly anticipated 2027 roller coaster has officially reached a major construction milestone as the project enters its first phase of vertical assembly — with the first piece now lifted into place and the ride beginning to emerge above the horizon for the first time.
