Six Flags Over Texas celebrates ¡Viva la Fiesta! now through May 5 with live entertainment, park decor and a special overlay on the Casa Magnetica crooked house. Before our visit, Six Flags Over Texas was hit with flood waters due to a major storm that came through the area, leaving sections and rides closed. Construction has also progressed on the two children's attractions coming to Bugs Bunny Boomtown.

The Seven Seas Food Festival has made its way back to SeaWorld San Antonio on select dates from March 21 to May 27, 2024. The Oktoberfest Food Festival has returned to Six Flags Over Texas on select dates from September 2 to October 31. Taking place along the park’s Smith Street and Old South area, the festival features a number of German-inspired food and adult beverage options with expanded menus for 2023. This year's event also features new live entertainment, photo opportunities and games, such as cornhole and shuffleboard.

The Oktoberfest Food Festival returns to Six Flags Fiesta Texas on select dates between August 26 and October 30. Coinciding with the park’s Fright Fest and Kids Boo Fest Halloween events, guests can enjoy craft and seasonal beers, specialty cocktails and several food offerings. For 2023, the event expands with additional entertainment, enhanced decor and a wider array of food and drink options.

Six Flags Fiesta Texas, the Thrill Capital of South Texas, announces the return of the spectacular New Orleans-style celebration, the Mardi Gras Festival. Each operating day through February 26, Six Flags Fiesta Texas will “let the good times roll” as it transforms into a Texas version of downtown New Orleans, complete with beautifully adorned parade floats, special live entertainment, Mardi Gras-themed park décor and classic Cajun cuisine.

Our final visit to Holiday in the Park at Six Flags Over Texas takes place the week before Christmas. Though the park has more decorations since our previous visit, we run into issues with Holiday Market offerings closing early and the midday cancellation of shows. Holiday in the Park takes place now through January 2, with the Holiday Market being available until December 23.
