The Seven Seas Food Festival has made its way back to SeaWorld San Antonio on select dates from March 21 to May 27, 2024. This year's festival features over sixty fresh global cuisine choices, along with over fifty specialty beverages. Catapult Falls at SeaWorld San Antonio is a first-of-its-kind log flume attraction. The ride features eleven boats, holding eight riders each. After meandering through calm waters, Catapult Falls launches riders at speeds of 30 feet per second through the first splashdown. Soon enough, the attraction travels up a unique elevator lift and down a 53-degree drop, the steepest of any log flume.

SeaWorld San Antonio announced today that March 2nd will be the opening date for Catapult Falls. The highly anticipated thrill ride is the world’s first launched flume coaster and features the steepest drop in any flume ride. It also has the unique distinction of being the only flume ride in North America to feature a vertical lift.

SeaWorld San Antonio is letting the good times roll as Mardi Gras returns to the park starting this Saturday, January 13 and running through February 25. SeaWorld’s Mardi Gras celebration transforms Texas’ biggest and best theme park into a jazzed-up, New Orleans-style atmosphere complete with live music, festive characters, and a Mardi Gras-inspired menu featuring both all-new and returning Cajun and Creole food favorites.

A new animal attraction is quickly taking shape at SeaWorld San Antonio, but its residents might be a bit slow while roaming around their new home once it is completed. One of the largest tortoises in the world, the Aldabra tortoise – a species currently listed as vulnerable - will soon have a new habitat at SeaWorld San Antonio. Aldabra Island, a new state-of-the-art 7,000 square-foot tortoise habitat will be the perfect size to accommodate the giant reptiles that can weigh upwards of 500 pounds and stand four feet tall.

Beginning November 9, SeaWorld San Antonio’s Christmas Celebration is back with plenty of holiday cheer, a re-imagined new block party, and new culinary delights for every palate! At Texas’ biggest Christmas celebration, millions of lights will be shining bright as guests enjoy the holiday fun.

The Halloween Spooktacular is taking place now at SeaWorld San Antonio. This daytime, family-friendly event features several trick-or-treat stops, a hay maze, live entertainment and more. We also venture around for a daytime preview of the park's Howl-O-Scream event, which shows off haunted house and terror-tory locations. SeaWorld San Antonio also has multiple construction projects, along with the massive solar energy project popping up in the parking lot.

SeaWorld San Antonio is thrilled to announce the beginning stages of the installation of a state-of-the-art solar parking lot canopy. This landmark project will not only provide valuable shade to visitors during extreme heat but will also help SeaWorld make significant strides towards a more sustainable future, something embedded in its mission. The solar canopy, boasting a capacity of 4.3 megawatts (MW), showcases the company's unwavering dedication to environmental responsibility.

SeaWorld San Antonio is thrilled to share that the much- anticipated “Catapult Falls” will now open in Spring 2024.  The groundbreaking coaster will be the world’s first launched flume coaster with North America’s only vertical lift.  It also will have riders screaming in anticipation of a speedy downward plunge with the steepest drop of any flume ride.

Today, SeaWorld San Antonio announced that their new Catapult Falls attraction will be delayed until 2024. SeaWorld sent the update to pass members, which states, “Our upcoming attraction Catapult Falls - the first launched, flume coaster in the world - is now expected to open in 2024. While we hoped to introduce this exciting thrill to our fans this year, sometimes it takes longer than expected to bring ‘firsts’ to life.”

SeaWorld is dimming the lights in its Sea Star Theatre and featuring a new glow-in-the-dark puppet show musical, ImaginOcean. This theatrical performance is packed with a fun musical score, amazing puppetry, and dazzling neon colors. Created by Broadway sensation John Tartaglia, this one-of-a-kind show is a must see for summer 2023. The glow-in-the-dark spectacular will join an already impressive lineup of amazing shows and is the perfect summer entertainment for families.

The Seven Seas Food Festival at SeaWorld San Antonio takes place on select dates now through May 21. For 2023, SeaWorld touts forty-five new menu offerings with over one hundred flavors. SeaWorld is kicking off spring 2023 with the city’s biggest and best food festival, now packed with more flavor than ever! SeaWorld is putting its spin on the traditional Mardi Gras celebration by bringing the Big Easy to San Antonio with the SeaWorld Mardi Gras event kicking off on Saturday, January 14th. The entire park will be jazzed up for a New Orleans style carnival, complete with live music, extravagant costumes, Mardi Gras-inspired culinary specials including new, expanded and returning Cajun and Creole food items, alcoholic drink specials; in addition to thrilling rides and animal encounters.

SeaWorld San Antonio brings back their Christmas Celebration now through January 2.
