The Seven Seas Food Festival has made its return to SeaWorld San Antonio now through May 18. The annual event features more than 60 cuisine offerings from all over the world, along with dozens of beer, wine and cocktail selections. Themed entertainment, including Baile Folklorico and the Japanese Living Garden, can also be found throughout the park. New for 2025, the Rescue Jr. children's area has debuted. Younger visitors can explore new rides like Seabird Swing, Ocean Quest Express and Beach Rescue Racer, SeaWorld's newest roller coaster.
SeaWorld San Antonio announced today the grand opening date of Rescue Jr., an immersive, kid-friendly adventure zone designed to inspire and entertain guests of all ages. The new attraction will open March 8 and offer thrilling rides and interactive play areas that highlight SeaWorld’s rescue, rehabilitation, and conservation efforts.
Howl-O-Scream, SeaWorld San Antonio's Halloween event, has returned in 2024 on select dates through October 27. This year's spooky festivities include the return of six free haunted houses, along with new terror-tories that feature unique monsters and creepy creatures. SeaWorld San Antonio recently announced the new Rescue Jr. area for 2025 and work is already well under way for the transformation. Super Grover's Box Car Racers has been demolished to make way for the new Beach Rescue Racer roller coaster, while other structures within the area have also been removed.
SeaWorld San Antonio today unveiled its plans for an ALL-NEW friendly world of discovery, the Rescue Jr. hub, set to open Spring 2025. This immersive, hands-on adventure zone will transport young guests into the heart of SeaWorld’s animal rescue efforts, where they’ll tackle immersive rides, conquer towering climbing structures, splash through vibrant water features and bring to life the rescue and rehabilitation work the SeaWorld team does.
Howl-O-Scream at SeaWorld San Antonio is back and scarier than ever! From haunted happenings to spine-tingling surprises, SeaWorld transforms into the biggest and scariest Halloween event in the state of Texas on select days from Friday, September 13 until October 27. As the moon rises, guests can immerse themselves in an unforgettable Halloween experience that includes six haunts, eight terror-tories (including one all-new!) and a new party zone.
SeaWorld San Antonio is thrilled to premiere its Red, White and BBQ festival showcasing the best barbecue from around the country. Beginning August 9 and running through September 2, guests can enjoy BBQ styles from Kansas City, the Carolinas, Texas, Memphis and Hawaii all while strolling the park enjoying rides and animal attractions. This inaugural event is the perfect blend of food, fun and entertainment and is included in SeaWorld admission every Friday through Sunday and on Labor Day.
SeaWorld San Antonio celebrates 25 years of heart-pounding excitement on the Steel Eel on July 25. In honor of the roller coaster’s 25th anniversary, guests are challenged to ride the Steel Eel 25 times in one day, and those who do will receive an exclusive commemorative t-shirt. All guests will also be treated to delicious cookies, 60th Anniversary cooling towels, and an exciting atmosphere as ambassadors cheer on participants completing the ride challenge.
SeaWorld San Antonio is excited to announce the launch of “Early Rise Hours”, with an earlier morning opening time to help guests beat the hot Texas mid-day heat. Beginning July 13th and on additional select Saturday dates, the park will open at 8 am, two and a half hours earlier than its normal opening time. Guests can take advantage of the cool morning temperatures, grab their morning coffee and breakfast, ride thrilling coasters, and see animals all before the afternoon temperatures rise.
