The Seven Seas Food Festival has made its way back to SeaWorld San Antonio on select dates from March 21 to May 27, 2024. This year's festival features over sixty fresh global cuisine choices, along with over fifty specialty beverages. Celebrate spring at Fiesta Texas with ¡Viva la Fiesta! Taking place March 29 to April 28, the event features vibrant decor and photo opportunities throughout the park, authentic mariachi music, themed live entertainment and the Taste of ¡Viva la Fiesta! food festival.

What is now known as the San Antonio Zoo officially began in 1914. Over its 100 years, the 57-acre zoo has grown to feature 750 species of animals and over a million annual visitors. The San Antonio Zoo is involved with the protection and breeding of many endangered species, including the black rhino, the golden lion tamarin and the dama gazelle. Today, guests can experience and learn about over 3,500 animals during their visit.

Catapult Falls at SeaWorld San Antonio is a first-of-its-kind log flume attraction. The ride features eleven boats, holding eight riders each. After meandering through calm waters, Catapult Falls launches riders at speeds of 30 feet per second through the first splashdown. Soon enough, the attraction travels up a unique elevator lift and down a 53-degree drop, the steepest of any log flume.

SeaWorld San Antonio announced today that March 2nd will be the opening date for Catapult Falls. The highly anticipated thrill ride is the world’s first launched flume coaster and features the steepest drop in any flume ride. It also has the unique distinction of being the only flume ride in North America to feature a vertical lift.

Fiesta Texas is hard at work on the transformation of preexisting rides for their new DC Universe area. Crews are transforming SkyScreamer, Streamliner Coaster and Rambling Road with fresh paint and themed pieces. We also discuss the install timelines for 2024 attractions, along with the next phase of Wonder Woman Golden Lasso Coaster's improvements.

SeaWorld San Antonio is letting the good times roll as Mardi Gras returns to the park starting this Saturday, January 13 and running through February 25. SeaWorld’s Mardi Gras celebration transforms Texas’ biggest and best theme park into a jazzed-up, New Orleans-style atmosphere complete with live music, festive characters, and a Mardi Gras-inspired menu featuring both all-new and returning Cajun and Creole food favorites.

This jam-packed Six Flags Fiesta Texas update takes us on a behind-the-scenes tour of the new children's water slides currently being installed in Hurricane Harbor San Antonio. Six Flags Fiesta Texas goes all out for the New Year and 2024 was no exception. A new animal attraction is quickly taking shape at SeaWorld San Antonio, but its residents might be a bit slow while roaming around their new home once it is completed. One of the largest tortoises in the world, the Aldabra tortoise – a species currently listed as vulnerable - will soon have a new habitat at SeaWorld San Antonio. Aldabra Island, a new state-of-the-art 7,000 square-foot tortoise habitat will be the perfect size to accommodate the giant reptiles that can weigh upwards of 500 pounds and stand four feet tall.

Beginning November 9, SeaWorld San Antonio’s Christmas Celebration is back with plenty of holiday cheer, a re-imagined new block party, and new culinary delights for every palate! At Texas’ biggest Christmas celebration, millions of lights will be shining bright as guests enjoy the holiday fun.

Six Flags Fiesta Texas celebrated the October 14 annular solar eclipse in style with an exciting fireworks and drone show. During our visit, we also check out construction progress on Kid Flash Comic Coaster and get a glimpse of its Aurora LED light panels in action. Plus, another guest-favorite attraction reopens after awaiting parts.

The Halloween Spooktacular is taking place now at SeaWorld San Antonio. This daytime, family-friendly event features several trick-or-treat stops, a hay maze, live entertainment and more. We also venture around for a daytime preview of the park's Howl-O-Scream event, which shows off haunted house and terror-tory locations. SeaWorld San Antonio also has multiple construction projects, along with the massive solar energy project popping up in the parking lot.

Fright Fest has returned to Six Flags Fiesta Texas and takes place now through October 31.
