Six Flags Fiesta Texas is set to unleash the vibrant spirit of New Orleans as its annual Mardi Gras Festival returns on select dates Feb. 7 through March 15. The celebration brings bigger energy, bolder flavors and blockbuster entertainment, including the internationally acclaimed Voodoo Dolls, winner of the prestigious Golden Ticket Award for Best New Show.
Tormenta Rampaging Run at Six Flags Over Texas Tops off 309-Feet High Lift Hill
The lift hill of Tormenta Rampaging Run, the world’s tallest, fastest, longest and first-ever giga (300+-foot-tall) dive coaster, reached its peak early this morning. This “topping off” marks the completion of the lift hill that will begin riders’ journey through the running of the bulls at Six Flags Over Texas’ re-imagined Spain area, Rancho de la Tormenta.

Decades Worth of Improvements Transforming Six Flags Over Texas, Tormenta First Drop Almost Complete
Six Flags Over Texas enhancements continue at a staggering rate, creating transformations that would typically play out over a couple decades. Several buildings have been remodeled, including most facades in Texas and along Smith Street. Other projects, such as the El Aserradero refresh, new dining and shopping signage and spruced up landscaping, are also in progress. Tormenta Rampaging Run construction moves forward as the first drop has nearly been topped off, marking the coaster's tallest point.

Six Flags Fiesta Texas is celebrating a major holiday honor: Holiday in the Park has been ranked No. 8 in the nation in the USA TODAY 10Best Theme Park Holiday Event Awards. This recognition highlights the park’s commitment to creating one of the most spectacular seasonal experiences in the country. Holiday in the Park runs select evenings from Nov. 22 through Dec. 23, followed by New Year’s Eve celebrations Dec. 26 through Jan. 4.
Six Flags Appoints John Reilly President and Chief Executive Officer

Tricks and Treats, a daytime Halloween celebration, has debuted at Six Flags Over Texas for 2025. The event features new entertainment, such as the Spectral Sisters and the Skelebration Dance Party. A reimagined trick-or-treat trail has popped up in France, featuring interactive stops along the way. The gravity-defying Casa Magnetica has also made its return to the park, providing another family-friendly attraction during the fall season.
