Fiesta Texas Launches Daily Operations, Expands Summer Hours and Debuts Nightly Drone Spectacular
Six Flags Fiesta Texas begins daily operations today, inviting guests to experience more thrills, entertainment and summer fun. From June 15 through Aug. 9, the park will extend hours, remaining open until 9 p.m. each evening, giving guests more time to enjoy rides, attractions and entertainment day and night. As part of the summer lineup, Six Flags Fiesta Texas will debut FiestaLuz, a new nightly drone spectacular featuring more than 175 illuminated drones.

Lundgaard, fresh off preparations for the race, visited the park to take on Titan — Six Flags Over Texas’ fastest coaster — before helping crews place the Golden Bolt, the final piece of track on Tormenta Rampaging Run, the park’s six time, world record-breaking dive coaster debuting later this year. The ceremonial bolting marks the official completion of Tormenta’s world record-breaking 4,199-foot track, a defining moment that moves construction into its next phases including train installation, system programming and more.
Six Flags Great Adventure Announces Major Transformation of The Boardwalk and March Park Opening
Six Flags Great Adventure opens to the public March 28 and today it announced a major transformation of The Boardwalk, the park’s reimagined take on a classic shorefront escape. With additional details to be released soon, the 2026 project is expected to open late spring and will include new ride experiences, refreshed dining and additional enhancements. This marks the latest project in a multi-year investment plan for the park, with construction currently ongoing for a new 2027 roller coaster.
Prehistoric Texas Cave Formed by an Earthquake | Wonder World Cave (San Marcos, TX)
Wonder World Cave & Adventure Park, a natural theme park located in San Marcos, Texas, has a rich history that dates back to its discovery in 1893 and is Texas' first-ever show cave. Wonder Cave, the primary attraction of the park, is an ancient earthquake cave and a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark. It is known as a dry-formed cave, as the fissure was opened by an earthquake and not by erosion. The quake had produced the Balcones fault, and the fault is visible in the cave ceiling. Wonder World Cave is also home to a wildlife park accessed via train ride and a classic anti-gravity house.
